METAlliance Event Comes to Blackbird Studios in Nashville – Music Connection Magazine

The METAlliance (Music Engineering and Technical Alliance) presents the next “In Session” event, January 28-29, 2023 in Nashville at the famous Blackbird Academy. Session attendees will participate and interact with METAlliance members in live recording and mixing sessions. By special arrangement, the METAlliance will occupy four historic studios for the entire weekend.

As at previous sold-out events in Hollywood and New York, attendees experience basic tracking and mic techniques up close. In separate sessions, participants are closely engaged in the process down to the smallest detail and participate in critical listening and evaluation.

The METAlliance offers a unique opportunity to experience living history while learning essential skills with legendary METAlliance master craftsmen. Each participant will attend four 4-hour tracking/recording and mixing sessions, each designed to provide different insight into the recording process and personally led by META members. Space is very limited.

Amenities include catered lunches and miscellaneous handouts. Photos with members will be taken. Extremely limited attendance for the entire weekend of four sessions ensures an intimate and personalized setting. Cost: $1,500.00
