Hyperx launches three gaming headsets and controller for Android: check specs

New Delhi: HyperX, HP’s gaming peripherals sub-brand, has introduced three headsets with up to 300 hours of battery life with just one cost. The HyperX Clutch Wi-Fi Game Controller can connect to Android smartphones via Bluetooth and PCs via USB cable.


The HyperX Cloud Alpha gaming headset is priced at $ 199.99 (approx Rs. 14,900) and could be available from February. The HyperX Cloud II gaming headset will retail for $ 99.99 (around Rs. 7,400) and could be available from March. The HyperX Cloud Core gaming headset could be available from January for $ 69.99 (around Rs. 5,200).

Claimed to have a battery life of up to 300 hours on a single cost, the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wi-Fi Gaming Headset helps DTS Headphone: X audio expertise. The helmet features dynamic 50mm HyperX drivers and custom-designed dual-chamber craftsmanship. The in-ear headphones also feature memory foam and faux leather ear pads. They have a frequency response varying from 15 Hz to 21,000 Hz.

In addition, it has a removable noise-canceling condenser microphone with LED indicators. Connectivity choices include a USB Wi-Fi dongle and a USB 2.0 port. The lithium-ion polymer battery can be fully charged in 4.5 hours. They weigh 332 grams without the microphone plugged in.

The HyperX Cloud II gaming headset features 53mm dynamic drivers and a frequency response ranging from 10Hz to 23,000Hz. In addition, the signature HyperX Digital 7.1 Encompass sound. They get a brand new pink and white colourway for 2022.

The third headset presented by HyperX is the HyperX Cloud Core gaming headset. They feature DTS HeadphoneX audio with 3D spatial audio. For 2022, HyperX has dropped the Digital 7.1 Encompass Sound for these headsets. Other than that, they look a lot like the outgoing model.
