Sisodia’s startling claims came days after his home was raided by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with allegations of corruption in the implementation of Delhi’s excise policy, even as BJP MP for northeast Delhi, Manoj Tiwari, has asked the AAP leader to name the person who made the “offers” to him.

At a press conference, AAP national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh evaded a direct answer to a question on how Sisodia managed to register the BJP’s ‘offer’ when the CBI seized his cell phone.

“Telephone is the only medium? The BJP leaders do not know what are the means they use to do such work? The BJP uses all kinds of tactics, tools and means such as telephone, messengers , meetings for such work,” Singh said.

When the time comes, everything will be “disclosed”, he added.

“They (the BJP) have done it (approached Sisodia). They are doing their legwork. We are also doing our legwork. Wait, we will disclose all when the time comes,” Singh said.

Importantly, Manish Sisodia is among 15 individuals and entities named in an FIR registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation in relation to alleged irregularities in the implementation of Delhi’s excise policy, according to the report. from the PTI news agency.

The AAP chief’s house was raided by the CBI on Friday for alleged bribery in Delhi’s 2021-22 excise policy.
