The store – and the brand – is more than just a clothing supplier, despite the commercial district in which it is located. The store provides space for events such as art exhibits and classes, trunk shows, poetry slams, fundraisers, cocktail parties, and other private events. events. It also functions as a rotating art gallery and community space, showcasing new art installations every month. Our featured art is meant to evoke emotions and add to the customer’s experience as well as a reminder that art and fashion are one.

A Look at Detroit – Pathways AcademyPathways Academy is a public charter school in Detroit, Michigan, serving students in grades 7-12. In a caring and supportive environment, this 21st century school will provide students with the academic and ethical skills necessary to succeed despite the personal, emotional and social challenges they face. Through a blended learning approach and an extended daytime schedule with access to on-site teachers from 9 a.m. to 2:50 p.m., the curriculum will focus on interdisciplinary activities and real-world applications. Child care and early childhood education services will be offered on-site and accelerated credit recovery opportunities will also be offered.

A Look at Detroit – The MurrayMurray’s historic townhouses had stood vacant for decades before its recently completed $4.6 million renovation. The Murray consists of 12 townhouses, three of which are designated for affordable housing. It is located on Porter Street, one block east of Clark Park in southwest Detroit. A special ceremony celebrating the inauguration of the Murray was held on July 22. Mayor Duggan, Southwest Solutions CEO Sean of Four, developers W. Emery Matthews and Stan Edwards of Real Estate Interests, and others spoke at the event. In addition to recognizing the importance of revitalizing The Murray to the community, Mayor Duggan announced a new $3.3 million investment in Clark Park, which will benefit from a new playground, wading pool , a fitness area, and upgrades to the walkway and entrance.
